We had a lovely, quiet stay at the cabin. The sauna was a great amenity, and we loved watching movies on the projector screen. It was very cozy, exactly as pictured. So nice being within walking distance of the wolf sanctuary! The host’s recommendations for the area were great — Ethos cafe is a must-try.

We had an awesome stay at Grace’s cabin. It was cozy and it felt like home. We enjoyed the sauna and the three cats as well as watching the deers right in front of our door. The cabin seemed to be bigger in the pictures, but it was even more cozy in real life. Kitchen was well equipped and the bed was fantastic.

Cannot recommend this cabin enough! Grace was proactive with communication and checked in to see if we needed anything during our stay. All amenities listed were available, and Grace was quick to respond if we needed anything.
This is hands down the most cozy cabin, and perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. It is a short drive to Golden, and close to many hikes/national parks/things to do. There are also the sweetest cats on the property, and the cabin is in such a beautiful and quiet location.

We had such a great stay here! The cabin is exactly as described and even better than we expected.
It’s super cozy inside, with a proper bathroom and a really comfy bed, and outside there’s a great BBQ area where we had dinner every night. We honestly wished we could’ve stayed longer.
Grace gave us some local tips — we went to a buffalo farm she recommended and loved it!
She (and her cats) are wonderful hosts. Easy to recommend this place and great value for money.

I loved my stay. It was very peaceful and it felt very private even though another cabin was close by. Amazing outdoor space that could be enjoyed even when it was raining. I even walked over to the buffalo ranch one morning for a tour. I will be back!

Overall we had a nice stay in Blaeberry at Grace’s cabin.
If you are looking to spend your time mostly in Golden or Yoho/Banff NP then it is a little out of the way, however if you are looking for a quiet escape then it would be perfect.
We did find the compost toilet a little complicated to use, and there is an additional cleaning fee if you use it incorrectly and cause a mess which is understandable. However, we probably wouldn’t stay again due to this, but that is personal preference.

This place was such a delight! We really enjoyed how remote and private the unit felt. We were very comfortable; the unit is so cute and had such nice little touches. I particularly enjoyed the little sauna! I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Cute place for a young couple to stay! The cats were very cute (definitely our favorite part). The compost toilet was trickier than we expected and it was a bit hard to find in the dark, but we arrived very late and check in was easy.

The hosts are clearly experienced Airbnbers, they seem to love hosting and love what they’ve built, and genuinely aim to please their guests. Their sweet cats warmed my heart, and the sauna warmed the rest!
I booked this place last minute and paid around $230 a night, which is comparable to a basic hotel in the area. This cabin is ideal for people looking for something unique, peaceful, and a bit off the beaten path.
A few things to mention – for those who aren’t used to things like running out of hot water, using a compost toilet, relying on a floor heater, or wanting total darkness at night, this setup may be a surprise. Also, the projector requires guests to bring their own equipment and movies.
